Wade Fred Weinell

Wade Fred Weinell, 79, of Tiger, passed away Nov. 23, 2016, at Amerisist Assisted Living in Stephens City, Virginia. 

He was born Feb. 7, 1937, to Fred Oscar Weinell and Phoebe Evelyn Cline Weinell in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ray and Gayle Weinell; and one sister, Lila Wallace. 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gladys; two sons, Matthew (Marlyn) of Tallahassee, Florida; and William (Christine) of Stephens City, Virginia; one sister, Velma Jane Smith of Irving, Texas; two granddaughters, Jaclyn and Rachael of Tallahassee, Florida; and several cousins, nephews and nieces. 

Wade was an electrician by trade and a trucker for a short time. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Tiger, a Master Mason and enjoyed helping others and visiting. 

The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 17 at Liberty Baptist Church, with the Rev. Scott Cates officiating.
