Rabun girls cruise past Heard in playoff opener

After dropping its first three contests, the Rabun County baseball team hopes the rain subsides so it can make some corrections and find that first victory.
TIGER – Brooke Henricks knew where she wanted to continue her education and her basketball career, so there was no need in keeping anyone in the dark about her decision any longer.
Region 8-AA opponents had another shot at slowing the Rabun County girls basketball team and its winning ways.
But the Wildcats remained composed.
Rabun County’s Kaitlin Coleman earned GHSA Class AA/A Area 8-Public volleyball’s Player of the Year, as one of five Wildcats to earn All-Area honors.
