Christopher Wade Hogelin, a resident of Rabun Gap, Ga., passed away Aug. 23, 2019. He was born July 1, 1966 in Warner Robins, Ga.
He is survived by a son, Christopher Wade Hogelin Jr., his mother and father, Julene and Mike Hogelin of Rabun Gap, Ga. and a brother, Jeremy Hogelin (Paulina) of McDonough, Ga.
Chris graduated from Rabun County High School, North Georgia Tech and Nashville Diesel and Automotive College. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Afghanistan while in the Army National Guard. His profession was automobile mechanic.
A military service will take place in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. on Sept. 12, 2019 at 1 p.m.Chris left us too soon. We know he is with God now and at peace. Good memories will remain with all who knew him.
