Earle Ann McConnell, 85, of Tiger, passed away on Nov. 4, 2021 at her residence.

Born on July 13,1936 in Clayton, she was the daughter of the late Harmon and Eula Speed Deal. A loving and devoted wife, mother and Christian, Earle Ann had been married to Jack McConnell since April 2, 1955, and they have been members of Bethel Baptist Church for over 50 years. Coming from a large Rabun County family, Earle Ann was happiest spending time with her brothers and sisters, her children, grandchildren and, lately, great-grandchildren. Having retired from Burlington Industries in the nineties, she loved to travel with Jack and many of her siblings and especially enjoyed her trips to Alaska and Yellowstone.

In addition to her husband, Jack, Earle Ann is survived by her children Ricky McConnell (Shirley), Donna Watkins (Tom), Rhonda Moss (Chris), her grandchildren, Jayson McConnell (Maleah), Sandi Stanley, Michelle Stoudemire (Randy), Sarah Watkins Duckworth (Matt), Thomas Watkins (Libby), Christopher Moss (Ally), Clayton Moss and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Randall Deal (Alice), Robert Deal (Betty), Ronnie Deal (Joyce), Ruth Deal Adolph (Dave) and Oss Deal (Nancy), her in-laws Sue McConnell Beasley (Ray), Alton McConnell (Vickie), and Lucille McConnell Snyder (J.L.) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Teresa Ann McConnell and siblings, Dorothy Deal Hollifield, Raymond Deal, Ray Deal and Helen Deal Wood.

The family received friends Nov. 7 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Tiger, followed by a memorial service with Rev. Danny Cannon officiating at 2 p.m.

Burial was at Liberty Baptist Cemetery at a later date.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Earle Anns memory to Bethel Baptist Church, P.O. Box 14, Tiger, GA 30576.
