Elizabeth "Lib" Epperson, 84, of Canton, passed away Thursday, Sept.16, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kent Samples officiating. Interment will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at the Georgia National Cemetery.
Mrs. Epperson was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church in Lakemont, and a member of the Canton Moose Lodge. She retired from Hickory Flat Elementary School where she worked in the Cafeteria. Lib enjoyed flower gardening, camping, fishing and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her children, Steve Justus and Tim Justus; and granddaughter, Katie Justus. Survivors include her husband, Max Epperson; children, Dale Justus, Scott Justus, Chris Justus and Donnie Justus; stepsons, Mark Epperson and John Epperson; sister, Janet Nichols; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
