George Richard Rick Edmondson, a lifelong resident of Dillard, passed away on March 31, 2022. He was born in Gainesville, Ga., Oct. 18, 1952. He attended Gainesville High School and graduated cum laude from Brenau University with a degree in special education. He is survived by his wife, Joan; son John; daughter Kris; grandson Braxton; granddaughter Lindsey; brother Bill. He was predeceased by his parents George and Beulah.
A life celebration will be held at Beck Funeral Home, Clayton, Ga., on April 16 from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090.
