Rebecca Louise Justus Nix, age 69, of Clayton, passed away on Jan. 10, 2022.
Rebecca was born the daughter of the late T.C. Justus and Frances Welch Justus on May 31, 1952. Rebecca was a Christian and a member of the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife of 51 years to George Edwin Ed Nix, of the home.
In addition to her parents, two brothers, Donald Justus and Danny Justus preceded her in death.
Her survivors include her loving husband, Ed Nix; her two daughters, Angela Turner (Delwyn), of Lakemont and Melissa Shirey (Brooks), of Cedar Bluff, Alabama; one brother, Ricky Justus; one sister, Donna Phillips, of Toccoa; and three grandchildren, Creed Turner, Kaleb Turner, Brooklyn Shirey.
The family received friends on Wednesday Jan. 12, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Ga. A funeral service was held Wednesday Jan. 12, 2022, in the chapel of the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Georgia at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Madison McCracken officiating. Committal will follow the service at the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church Cemetery in Dillard, Ga.
