A memorial service for Tim Woods, 60, was held Sunday, Sept. 19, at Battle Branch Baptist Church.
Mr.Woods gained his heavenly wings Sept. 17, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Born on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, 1960, he was the son of the late Clyde Wood and Marie Welch Wood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Wood Ramey, and a brother, Jeff Woods. He was married to Joi Jarrard Woods for 29 years.
Tim owned and operated TNW Custom Cabinets for 29 years. He enjoyed working with folks designing and building custom cabinets for their homes. He had a true natural woodworking talent.
Tim is survived by two sons, Peyton (Kayla) Woods of Jefferson, and Cody (Paulina) Woods of Clayton; and a daughter, Christin Jarrard, also of Clayton. Tim is also survived by three sisters, Nawana (Carlton) York of Tiger, Janice (Tom) Bryant of Dahlonega, and Debbie (Ronnie) Carnes of Tuskasegee, North Carolina. He is also survived by four brothers, Melvin (Betty) Wood of Hazel Park, Michigan, Dennis Wood of Dallas, Aubrey (Claudette) Woods and Kevin Woods,, all of Clayton.
