This year the Clayton Farmers Market celebrated its 10th annual Garlic Fest Saturday, July 29.

More than 20 vendors sold garlic-inspired items, fresh produce, handmade goods and much more.

The garlic pie contest had eight entries. The winner, Johnathan Parker, 13, of Tallulah Falls, was the youngest winner yet!

We appreciate all the support our community has shown us. This market wouldn’t be her if it wasn’t for y’all!

The market was led this year by their new manager, a local, Nicole Kelley of Hatch Camp & Art Farm; Suzi Blades of Two Tiger Lilies and other market members.

Be sure to mark your calendar for the inaugural Jelly Jam on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Live music was performed by Reverend Hylton of Atlanta, Ga.
