Curtis Eugene Henslee, 76, of Clarkesville, Ga., passed away on Aug. 22, 2022, at his residence.
Born on July 12, 1946, he is the son of the late Roy and Jean Henslee. Curtis is survived by his wife Ellie Henslee. He was a family man and loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Rachel Taylor (Phillip) of Clarkesville, Ga.; one son, Jerry Green (Sheryl) of Clarkesville, Ga.; four grandchildren, Wayne Green (Courtney), Blake Moore (Jayanna), Dillan Moore (Lydia) and Brela Dover; six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Pastor Austin Kelley officiating. The family received friends from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial followed the service at Robinson Family Cemetery.
