Darlene Kay Glennon Carver, age 79 went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 13, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born Sept. 16, 1942, the daughter of the late John Glennon and Imogene Wade Glennon, and was also preceded in death by sister Janice White.

She is survived by her children Jim (Tori) Carver, Kimberly (Christian) Lovell, and Randy Carver, grandchildren Jim Bob (Sarah), Miranda, Grayson, Abbye, Shawn, and Mary, great grandchildren Perri, and Rebel.

Darlene was a loving mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. In her professional career she worked as a dietician for many years at Mountain View Nursing Home in Clayton, Ga.

The family received friends Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022, at Beck Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Funeral Service was held Monday, Aug. 15, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel Clayton, Ga., with Rev. Jim Carver officiating. Interment followed in the Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
