Floyd Junior Bramblett, age 90, of Clayton, Ga. passed away on Aug. 23, 2022.

Floyd was the son of the late Walter Bramblett and the late Ina Free Bramblett. He served in the United States Army, and worked at Burlington Industries. He was a Christian and a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church. He always found the most happiness in his work as a Deacon of that church. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He always found joy when he was able to spend time fishing.

In addition to his parents his loving wife, Barbara Bramblett; his brother, Robert Bramblett, and his sisters, Susie Morris and Marie Brewer, preceded him in death.

His survivors include his son, David Bramblett (Edna), Daughter, Melissa Jamison (Kenny), step-sons, Gary and Richard Hembree; his brother, Mike Bramblett; his sisters, Margaret Canup and Sarah Ann Wall; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.

The family received friends on Thursday Aug. 25, 2022, at the Beck Funeral Home in Clayton, Ga., from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

A funeral service was held in the chapel of the Beck Funeral Home on Friday Aug. 26, 2022, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Madison McCracken officiating.

Interment followed in the Tiger Cemetery on Jones Street, in Tiger, Ga.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Floyd’s memory to the Battle Branch Baptist Church.
