Inez M. Watts, 87 of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 at her residence.

Born on March 19, 1934 she was the daughter of the late V.L Moore and Eula Watts. She lived her life in Rabun County and worked as a seamstress for Clayburn Manufacturing. She was also a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, V.L. Moore and Eula Watts, by her husband, Claude B. Watts, a son, Kenneth Claude Watts, a brother, Carl Watts and a sister, Mary Stancil.

She is survived by three daughters, Claudia Parker (Mike Pollard) of Clayton, Kathy Redden of Clayton, and Judy Justus of Clayton; sister, Alice Wilson of Tiger; four grandchildren, Ron and Lynn Baumes, Shannon McCrackin, Wayne and Kristy Ramey and Kendall and Mindy Parker; and by eight great-grandchildren, Gage Stiefel, Justin McCrackin, Daniel Willis, Isaac Snider, Ronald Baums IV, Michael Baumes, Alex Ramey and Addison Parker.

The body was at Hunter Funeral Home where a visitation was held on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Funeral services were at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 2:00pm with Pastor Madison McCrackin and Rev. Joe McCrackin, followed by a burial at Liberty Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Watts officiating.

The family is at the home on Red Fox Lane in Clayton.
