Ronald Edward Sherrill

Ronald Edward Sherrill, 71 of Clayton, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, at his home on Muscadine Lane.

Born in Bryson City, N.C., on Oct. 22, 1950, he was the son of the late Taylor Sherrill and Maude McLean. He worked for Parkdale as an electronic technician. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor and Maude Sherrill and a son, Jesse Claude Sherrill. He is survived by a son, Christopher C. Sherrill of Colorado, and by two sisters, Rita Smith of Virginia and Docia Mawney of North Carolina. The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is at their respective residences.
