2024 Dillard Marathon fire investigation still ‘active and open’
Blaze last year deemed 'total loss'

The commercial structure caught fire and was deemed a “total loss” on Dec. 7, 2024. Despite the building being torn down and the fire occurring over seven months ago, officials from the Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire stated the incident is still “an active and open investigation/case.”
