Scholarship recipient Christy Walden, a Habersham Central High School student, showcases her artwork of a spray painted mural of a blue whale that spans the entire length of this school bus. She said it took about seven hours to complete the art piece. Walden was awarded the Carolyn Hill Memorial Scholarship.
Megan Horn/The Clayton Tribune. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School senior Kendall Weisser showcases her artwork at the North Georgia Arts Guild Scholarship meeting on April 16. Weisser received the Paula Van Huss Memorial Scholarship. She said she plans to attend Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to study classical arts and fashion.

She showcases some of her artwork to Guild members during the Thursday meeting. She showcased different types of works including architecture models. This architecture model is shaped like two dumbbells.
