Megan Broome/The Clayton Tribune. Cooper Bartolomey, 11, proudly shows off the art project he made during Art Camp with Mrs. Amy Jarrard last week. Bartolomey’s art project includes some of his favorite characters, such as Minions and Ninja Turtles.
Students participated in 2022 CatsArt Camp multiple days last week with Mrs. Amy Jarrard, Visual Arts teacher and Fine Arts Department Chair at Rabun County High School. Students created many different works of art.
"The 2022 CatsArt Camp was a huge success," Jarrard said. "We had 29 campers and created various projects including Gelli prints, mixed media collage, camp shirt, and a wacky bird Marinette. I look forward to camp every summer and my students look forward to working with the younger students. The camp is a great opportunity for my high school students, that are interested in pursuing a career in education, to get some insight into teaching."
