Rabun County Public Library
Get your creative juices flowing and win the chance to be published in Foxfire Magazine by submitting to the summer Writing Contest for Kids ages 6-12.
The topic is Summer in Rabun County.
The deadline for submissions is Monday, August 1. The contest is sponsored by The Foxfire Museum, Black Rock Mountain State Park and the Rabun County Public Library.
Entries should be returned to the Rabun County Public Library, 73 Jo Dotson Circle, Clayton.
The winning story will be published in the winter issue of Foxfire Magazine and will win a $25 Amazon gift card.
Guidelines:
-Each story should be a minimum of 150 words and a maximum of 350 words.
-Single author stories only
-One entry per person
-The story must be written legibly or typed. Stories may be dictated to be typed or written legibly.
-Non-English text must be translated on the same page and translated text (English) must adhere to word count.
-Invented spelling is accepted
-Entries must be judged on creativity and relevance to the topic
