The Old School Garden held its fall plant sale Saturday, Oct. 1. The beautiful weather brought a crowd of people to town for the event. The Old School Garden was decked out for the season with scarecrows, pumpkins, and of course plants. The event featured a garden tour with native and medicinal garden plots. Patrons grabbed a sled and selected from a wide variety of plants to take home. The fall event featured a wide variety of perennial plants, herbs, medicinal plants and native plants. It also had landscaping plants perfect for planting in the fall. Gardeners were on-hand to answer any questions about plants and they were organized into sections based on the type. At the entrance to the garden, there were flowers planted in memory of dedicated friends and fellow gardeners. The Old School Garden is located off of Highway 76 West on the Clayton City Hall Complex grounds.
