Station 4 Captain John Murray prepares the training with a simulated controlled burn that exposes firefighters to what conditions are like when responding to a structure fire.

Firefighters use these as they assess the fire and rescue victims inside a structure. The darker colors on the screen represent cooler areas and the colors get lighter as temperature increases.
