This year’s production was conceptualized and designed by Rabun Gap students, drawing inspiration from fantasy stories including Alice in Wonderland, The Wizard of Oz, Narnia, and Labyrinth. Mr. Sean Lakey wrote the script based off ideas generated by students and Ms. Heidi Spoon and Mr. Lakey directed the show. The story followed a young girl who gets trapped in the magical, fantasy land of Arqadia, where she discovers she is fated to destroy the world.

Cirque Arqadia showcased a variety of Cirque acts including aerial silks, lyra, German wheel, Spanish web, and trapeze. There was also firebreathing, contortionism, and tumbling.

Sisters Cydni Coppage (The Girl) and Peyton Coppage (The Undreaming) of Sky Valley, played the lead characters and the show was narrated by Emma Jean Scott of Clayton. More than 40 students were involved in the show on stage and behind the scenes.
