Megan Broome/The Clayton Tribune. The Charlie Mac Dickerson Sr. Memorial Park was established to honor Dickerson, who was a local business owner and community member dedicated to service. Dickerson Hardware Company was established in 1948. The park is located at 65 Wilson Alley (behind the former Dickerson Hardware Building) to honor Dickerson for his contributions to Rabun County. The project was spearheaded by the Rabun County Downtown Development Authority.
