RCMS/RCHS ‘Artist Showcase’

Rabun County High School and Rabun County Middle School teamed up Friday, May 12, and shared the artwork of students during the “Art Showcase” which was on display in the lobby of the Fine Arts Building (FAB). The show was held during school and students got to take time to head to the FAB and view the cumulative work of many talented and creative students. The end-of-the-year showcase featured projects the students worked on throughout the year in mediums such as wire sculptures; paper mache; pottery; graphite; mixed media; as well as others. Many seniors had artwork on display in the show as well. Amy Jarrard is a visual arts teacher at Rabun County High School and is Fine Arts Department chair and Julie Herb teaches visual arts at Rabun County Middle School.
