Town would benefit from association with Appalachian Trail
Megan Broome/The Clayton Tribune. Appalachian Trail (AT) hikers point to their trail names after signing the banner at Outdoor 76 on Tuesday. The group was being shuttled back to Dicks Creek Gap at the AT after staying overnight in Clayton. Each hiker has a unique name given to them by another hiker. CLAYTON-- Rabun County’s landscape offers many activities for the avid outdoorsman, whether it’s visiting one of the state parks or hiking the Appalachian Trail.
