Anthony “Tony” Dan Blackwell, 46, husband of Karina Davenport Blackwell, of 249 B Blackwell Road, Westminister, S.C., passed away Saturday, March 13th, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Oconee County, he was the son of Dan and Rena Caudell Blackwell. He was employed with Terminex as a technician, and was formerly employed with Kendall/Covidien for 18 years, and also at Moore and Moore Fish Camp. Tony was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Although an avid fisherman, and an accomplished deer hunter, holding state and county records, Tony’s greatest joy was sharing those times outdoors with his family.

In addition to his parents, and wife, Karina Davenport Blackwell, he is survived by his son Zeb Blackwell of the residence; daughter, Eden Blackwell of the residence; brother, Ron Blackwell of Townville; sister, Connie Cobb (Tim) of Westminster; four nephews, Chris Baker, Alex Baker, Matt Cobb, and Adam Cobb; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, March 17th, 2021 at Holly Springs Baptist Church. Burial followed at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Sandifer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
