Belinda Marie Coleman Ramey was born to the late Dock and Marie Parker Coleman on January 19, 1952.
She was one of the first babies born in the new Rabun County Memorial Hospital. Belinda lost her long fight with thyroid cancer on July 7, 2021.
She was married to Lonnie Joe Ramey who preceded her in death in January 2020. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Coleman and a sister Hazel Norton.
She is survived by two sons, Patrick Bryan of the home and Christopher Lee (Susy) of Gainesville, 2 granddaughters, Jasmine Ramey of Loveland, Co. and Helena Smith of Clayton, and a grandson, Sammy Joe of South Carolina.
Two sisters also survive, Beverly Sibley (Jim) of Mauldin, S.C. and Bobbie Littrell of Tiger, Ga. A number of nieces and nephews as well as extended family also survive.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 and 2 p.m. at Rocky Grove Baptist Church. The church is located at 6900 Bridge Creek Rd., Tiger.
