Betty Jo Woods Pineo, 51, of Snyder Valley Lane, Tiger, Ga., died Feb. 15, 2020 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, Ga. She was the widow of Melvin Pineo.
Born in Rabun County, Ga. June 26, 1968, she was the daughter of the Rev. Mickey Woods and Vickie Snyder Woods. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Pineo, and is survived by her parents, Rev. Mickey Woods and Vickie Snyder Woods. Several cousins also survive.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home, with Rev. Dexter James officiating. Burial followed at Rabun Memory Park in Tiger, Ga.
