Billie Jean Southards Beck, age 56, of Clayton, Ga., passed away on December 2, 2020.
B.J. was born the daughter of the late Max Southards and the late Jeanie Shelton Southards on August, 3, 1964. In her professional life she worked as a clerk for the United States Postal Service.
She always enjoyed flowers and being outside. She was fond of horse riding and shopping and was always very conscious of her appearance. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren immensely.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Her survivors include her companion, Bobby Holland; two daughters, Erika Hodges (Jamie), of Patterson, Ga., Latoya Beck Nichols (Colby), of Clayton, Ga.; half brother, Rev. Gabe Southards (Misty), of Clayton, Ga.; two sisters, Tracy English (Wesley), of Clayton, Ga., Susan Welch (Faron), of Mountain City, Ga.; half sister, Kelli Shelton; four grandchildren, Austin Hodges, Beck Hodges, Layne Holcomb, Camden Nichols.
A private family service will be held, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Burial will take place in the Blue Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.
