Carol Ann Vanleeuwen Brown, age 75, of Clayton, Georgia, passed away on May 20, 2020. 

Carol was born on July 6, 1944, the daughter to the late Cory Vanleeuwen and Stella Becroft Vanleeuwen. In her professional life she worked as an Inspector for the State of Florida and was an auxiliary State Trooper. Carol loved horses and enjoyed showing miniature horses in the Driving Class. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived in Rabun County for several years with her daughter Carol Brown. 

Carol is survived by her son, Yancy Foell (Tammy), of Lebanon, Missouri; her daughter, Carol Ann Brown (Gary Lee), of Clayton; her brother, Mike Vanleeuwen, of Connecticut ; her sister, Dianne Beasley Tyrell, of Vero Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, John Brown, Charlie Foell, Olivia Foell; five great-grandchildren, Makayla Martinez, Jake Martinez, John Brown Jr., Kinleigh Foell, Bryleigh Foell; great-grandchildren, Diesal Brown. 

Due to the healthcare crisis that our nation is currently facing the family the family will hold a private graveside service at Godfrey Cemetery.
