Elizabeth Ann Kendall (nee Clark), 70, of Lakemont, departed peacefully Monday, Oct. 11, 2021.

She was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania in 1951, the first daughter of Edward and Mary Clark and raised by her mother and stepfather, Wesley Smith. A 1969 graduate of Leesburg HS, she would later earn a BA from USF and a master’s degree in Elementary Education from UCF.

A long-time teacher and educator in Seminole County, she was loved by her students and fellow teachers. Her wonderful sense of humor, endearing smile and kind heart will be missed. She loved the mountains, traveling, her many dogs, good friends and good wine.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gene Kendall; and her son, Jason Kendall.  She is survived by her sisters Lynn Barbieri, Lori Corrachano, and brother John Clark, along with many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Wesley; and her beloved dog, Boggs.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Nov. 6, at New Life Church, 201 E. Lavista Street, Fruitland Park, FL 34731. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.
