Elsie Matson McConnell, age 89, of Mountain City, Ga., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, Ga.
Born Nov. 26, 1930, in Greensboro, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Norman D. Matson and Helen Summerville. She worked as a printer for Honeywell and moved to Rabun County 25 years ago.
She is survived by a nephew, Timothy Donnelly (Melenie) of Port Clinton, Ohio and special friend Karen Byers of Mountain City, Ga.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
