Eva Amelia Lee Cannon, 85, wife of Rev. Harold Cannon, passed away January 22, 2020 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Oconee County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Alvin Massey and Nettie Caronia Rothell Lee.
Eva was a supervisor at Empire Manufacturing in Mountain City, Clayburne Manufacturing in Clayton, Ga. and retired from Jantzen. She was a Charter member at Temple Baptist Church and attended Old Country Church. Eva enjoyed her flowers, sewing, cooking, her grands and great-grands. She also enjoyed attending auctions, where she has many friends.
In addition to her husband of 64 years, Eva is survived by her son, Dennis Harold Cannon; daughter Wanda Cannon Smith (Curtis); sister, Cora Burton (Lex); grandchildren Michael Smith (Dawn), Jody Smith (Kelley); great-grandchildren, Julie Anna Smith, Austin Keith Smith, Noah James Smith and Ella Elizabeth Smith. In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her brother, Garvin Lee.
