Jerry Lynn Love, 67, of Mountain City, Ga., passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center.
Born Aug. 17, 1952 in Rabun County, Ga., he was the son of the late Charlie F. Love and Flora Ann Carver Love. He worked as a fork lift operator for Rabun Metal Products and was of the Baptist faith.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie F. Love and Flora Ann Carver Love; seven brothers, Claude, William, L.D., Glenn, Ralph, Travis and Tommy Love.
He is survived by two sons, Phillip Love of Toccoa, Ga. and Michael Love of Mountain City, Ga.; one brother, R.D. Love (Patsy) of Clayton, Ga. and three grandchildren, Makayla Love, Cameron Love and Landyn Love. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Private family services for immediate family were held at Head of Tennessee Baptist Church Cemetery, Dillard, Ga. on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 with Rev. Joel Winchester officiating. In consideration of community health and safety, a public celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
