Katheryn Suttles Granberg, 80, a resident of  Dillard, Ga., died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Mountain City United Methodist Church, 55 N Johnson Ave, Clayton, Ga. Dr. Karen Frank will officiate

She wsas born on Oct. 9, 1939 in Atlanta, Ga. to the late Mitchell Thomas Suttles and the late Annie Odessa Phillips .

She was a high school graduate, barbecue judge, founder of the Veterans Convoy on Armed Forces Day, hospice volunteer, hypnotherapist, ordained minister, organizer of the Dillard Bluegrass & Barbecue Festival, Rabun County Commissioner, Rabun Town Crier Founder, Radio Advertising Salesperson, Radio Personality – “Sunday Mornings with Katheryn” – SKY 104, Registered Clown (“Peaches”) and Stephen Minister

She is survived by a son, Michael Wilkes, and wife Ruth of Lilburn, Ga. and a daughter,  Georgia Fournier of Rochester Hills, Mich., sister Barbara Patterson and brother Robert Suttles, both of Georgia, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren

Memorials may be made to the Hospice or Veteran charity of your choice

Beck Funeral Home of Clayton is in charge of arrangements.
