Kenneth Allen ‘Kenny’ Henslee

Kenneth Allen ‘Kenny’ Henslee, 57, of Rabun Gap, passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born Dec. 21, 1963, in Rabun County, he was the son of the late Harold Henslee and Dorothy Spillers. He lived his life in Rabun County and worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Wolffork Christian Fellowship.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dorothy Henslee; a father-in-law, Lloyd Mitchell; and a granddaughter, Madeline Henslee. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Henslee of the home; two sons, Joseph Kallen and Megan Henslee of Rabun Gap, and Braden Henslee of Rabun Gap; a daughter, Morgan Henslee of Rabun Gap; and a brother, Larry Henslee of Rabun Gap. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Emily and Lane Henslee.

The body was at Hunter Funeral Home, where a funeral service was held Thursday, Oct. 14, at the Eastside Chapel with the Rev. Harvey Conner, the Rev. Clay Patton and the Rev. Bryan Alexander officiating. Burial followed at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The family is at the home on Po Folks Lane in Rabun Gap.
