Kenneth Roger Simpson age 70, passed away Nov. 16, 2021. He was born May 19, 1951, the son of the late Herschel Simpson and the late Rose Mae Spivey Simpson.

Kenneth graduated from Greene County High School. After high school, he attended Georgia College in Milledgeville. He was a graduate of the Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, where he went on to become a practicing chiropractor. He owned Strictly Southern in Milledgeville, as well as a number of Subway Franchises. Kenneth was a history and genealogy buff, and was a member of many historical organizations. These organizations included Sons of Confederate Veterans, Sons of the American Revolution, Sons of the War of 1812, and Jamestown Society and the Military Order of the Stars and Bars. He enjoyed working with his hands as well, repairing his tractor or cleaning cemeteries and grave markers for his ancestors. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, and by two brothers, Guy Simpson and Johnny Simpson. His survivors include his loving wife, Tina Simpson, of Clayton; his two daughters, Arin Rousseau (Mike), of Gloucester, VA, and Carmen Blitch, of Clayton; and five grandchildren, William Rousseau, Samantha Rousseau, Cora Blitch, Jason Blitch, Charlie Blitch.

A memorial service was held at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday Nov. 18, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Fred DiMaio officiating.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN  38105-1942.
