Lassie Arizonia Carpenter Holt, 85, passed away Aug. 30, 2021 following an extended illness.
Born Feb. 9, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Holt; and son, Wayne Holt.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Cowart (Dwight) of Habersham, Jean Dickens (Bob) of Wilmington, N.C., Kathy Japart (Randy) of Clayton, Shayne Holt (Laura) of Clayton, Aaron Holt (Michelle) of Clayton, and Rondal Holt (Lydia) of Clayton; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was Aug. 28 at Rocky Baptist Church in Tiger.
