Mitchell Brown, 75, of Clayton, Ga., died Oct. 30, 2019 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga.
Born in Macon County, N.C. May 29, 1944, he was the son of the late Lee Brown Jr. and Beatrice Billingsley Brown. He was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Steve Brown, Phil Brown and Michael Brown. He is survived by one sister, Betty Jo Brown of Clayton, Ga.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 4, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home, with Rev. Harold Houck and Daryl Billingsley conducting the service. Burial followed in the Scaly Mountain Methodist Cemetery.
