Peter J. Pietraszuk, 73, of Acworth, Ga. passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at Wellstar North Fulton Regional Hospital.
Born in Osterode Harz, Germany on February 22, 1947, he was the son of the late Josef Pietraszuk and Ana Ryfa. He worked for himself as a civil engineer and was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Georgia Mapping Association of Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Josef and Ana Pietraszuk and a brother, Muggy Pietraszuk. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cathy Rickman Pietraszuk of Acworth. Ga.; a son, Franklin and Lisa Pietraszuk of Acworth, Ga.; by four brothers, William Pietraszuk of New Haven, CT, John Pietraszuk of New Haven. CT, Lester Pietraszuk of New Haven, CT and Stanley Pietraszuk of North Carolina; and by a sister, Sandra Piertraszuk of New Haven, CT. Two grandchildren, Isabella and Stryder Pietraszuk also survive.
A private graveside service was held Pickett Cemetery due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
The family is at the home on Rapids Court NW in Acworth, Ga.
