Pollyann was the loving mother of two sons, Mark Gordon Matson of Cumming, and Eric Shane Matson of Atlanta. She was also the doting grandmother to her granddaughter Avens Caroline Matson.

In addition to her sons and granddaughter, she is survived by her sister, Toni McClure (Tim) of Clayton; her niece, Casey Kissel; and two great nieces, Grace and Anabel of Dacula.

During her years in the Atlanta area, Pollyann was very active in the Episcopal Church’s Cursillo Movement. She served locally on many teams and as team leader. She served on the Atlanta Episcopal Cursillo Community governing body. She was active in Ultreya and Group Reunion. In the Southeast District Pollyann served on several Episcopal Cursillo Leadership Workshop teams. On a national level, she served as the SE district representative on the national governing board.

She was an avid reader, often reading three or four books a week, a habit that continued until her death.
