Thomas E. Ledbetter, 69, of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton.
Born Feb. 9, 1952 in Rabun County, he was the son of the late George P. Ledbetter and Elizabeth Loggins. He was of the Baptist Faith and attended Battle Branch Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elizabeth Ledbetter; and his sister, Tiney Watts. He is survived by three sisters, Ruth Ganey of Wilmington, N.C., Barbara Blalock of Clayton, and Michaelena and Raymond Quilliams of Clayton; niece, Rachel Ledbetter of Clayton, and nephew, Ben Quilliams of Clayton. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
His body is at Hunter Funeral Home and will be taken to Roane Cemetery in Tiger on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 for a visitation at 11:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at noon, with Pastor Madison McCrackin officiating.
The family is at the home on JB & Fred Lane in Clayton, Ga.
