Mr. Willie Lee Mance, son of the late James Johnson of Philadelphia, Pa.., and Icy Moore Mance of Clayton, Ga. was born April 15, 1938 in Clayton Ga. In his passing on December 25, 2020, he joins his brothers James Sullivan Mance of Rockville Centre, N.Y. (deceased), Walter Eugene Mance of Clayton, Ga., (deceased) and sister, Helen Mance Brown of N.Y. (deceased). 

He was once married to the late Mae Byrd Gibson Mance of Cornelia, Ga. Willie Lee Mance and Katora Mcree of South Carolina had two children. Willie Lee Mance and Mattie Lou Hardin of Cornelia, Ga. had one son. 

Mr. Willie Lee Mance was known and loved by many friends and family. He went by the nickname affectionately as Willie Wompass. Willie worked in a number of professions: Bartender, Mayflower company employee, shirt factory worker, brick layer and other jobs. 

His full life will forever be cherished in the lives of  his children: Kim Mance of Wallace S.C., Komar (Yolanda) Mance of Chesterfield, S.C. and Kasey Mance of Demorest, Ga.; seven grandchildren: Katora Mance, Kimieko Mance, Yotashia Taylor, Latrell Harrington, Jasmine Harrington, Taravis Harrington, Andre Mance; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Janie (Johnny) Scott of Clayton, Ga., Alma Jean (Samuel) Masih of Buford, Ga., Roslyn Whitehead of Philadelphia, Pa.; brother, Earnest Harris of Philadelphia, Pa.; devoted family member and nephew: Robert Howard Davis; nieces, Cherryl (Farris) Long, Shelia (Tracy) Wright, Meena (Alex) Hall; nephews, Johnny Scott and William (Elizabeth) Scott and many cousins and friends.
