Wilma Jean Trusty, age 79, of Clayton, passed away on April 11, 2022. Wilma was born the daughter of the late Irvin Cannon and the late Bessie Swafford Cannon Underwood on Feb. 4, 1943.

In her professional life, she worked as a seamstress for Valley Drapery. She loved sewing, and spending time with her dog, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Wilma was a Christian and a member of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jack Trusty; one brother, Carl Cannon; and three sisters, Jackie Houck, Barbara Jenkins, Inez Harden.

Her survivors include her loving husband, Paul Trusty; three sons, Tim Trusty (Pam), Richard Trusty (Cori), Dale Trusty; one daughter, Dedra Vinson (Jeff); one brother, Tommy Cannon; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday April 16, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church in Dillard.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 16, 2022, at the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church in Dillard at 11 a.m. with Rev. Danny Cannon and Rev. Gabe Southards officiating.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Head of Tennessee Baptist Church in memory of Wilma. P.O. Box 184 Dillard, Georgia 30537.
