for the Rabun County Water & Sewer Authority
Sealed bids will be received by the Rabun County Water & Sewer Authority, (OWNER), for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and any other miscellaneous items necessary for the construction of Wolffork Valley Water Distribution System Expansion in Rabun County, Georgia.
Bids will be received at 137 Hiawassee Street, Clayton, GA 30525 until 9:00 a.m. on May 14, 2024. Any bid received after said time and date of bid opening will not be considered by OWNER.
This Project shall consist of two (2) sections, Section A and Section B.
Section A consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements:
Construction of approximately 16,160 L.F. of 8-inch DIP, 230 L.F. of Jack and Bore, 434 L.F. of Horizontal Directional Drilling, thirty four (34) each fire hydrant assemblies, nineteen (19) each 8-inch gate valves, and related appurtenances.
Section B consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements:
Construction of approximately 652 L.F. of Smooth Lined HDPE Storm Piping, Milling of approximately 15,381 S.Y. of existing asphalt, Backfilling GAB in the 15,381 L.F. waterline trench located in the roadway, installing 15,381 S.Y. of 19mm SuperPave asphalt and roadway striping, 443 L.F. of gravel roadway restoration, and related appurtenances.
