Scaly Mountain Women’s Club sponsors eight scholars in the Scaly/Sky Valley Fire District who are in good standing and currently receiving funds.

New scholar, Reid Wheeler, is from Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School and plans to attend High Point University in High Point, N.C., and earn a double major in Theater and Business Administration.

Kacper Kuzimski will graduate from University of North Georgia at the end of Fall Semester.

Sayla Roman will return to Columbia University after a year sabbatical.

Jack Haner completed his first semester at Oral Roberts University with all A’s!

Katie Keener is continuing her nursing studies at Southwest Community College through this summer. Due to her classroom hours and required clinical/lab hours, she qualifies for a summer scholarship.

SMWC has much to be proud of in our scholarship effort! If a student continues to qualify, they can receive a total of $7,000 in scholarship money over four years.
