‘O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree, How lovely are your branches!’
Enoch Autry/The Clayton Tribune. On Black Friday and Saturday, Nov. 29, crowds of people made their way to the Rabun County Civic Center for the 2025 Rabun Festival of Trees and Holiday Extravaganza. A total of $13,695 was raised for the Teaching Kitchen of the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia and many vendors made plans to return in 2026.

Enoch Autry/The Clayton Tribune. The Rabun County Civic Center floor was filled with vendors and trees for viewing and buying. The trees that were available for purchase all had their own distinct allure to them and many organizations spent hours and hours working on theirs.
Enoch Autry/The Clayton Tribune. While 40 trees were available for bids during a silent auction, little cermamic ones were available for purchase. Plenty of apparel was on hand to buy in a variety of styles for practically everyone.
For two days crowds flowed through the Rabun County Civic Center to awe at this year’s Rabun Festival of Trees and Holiday Extravaganza and the event did not disappoint.
