Rabun Gap athletic director, girls basketball coach and defensive backs coach Dale Earnhardt (right) has announced he will be leaving the school at the end of the school year after 19 years. WIth Earnhardt in the photo is coach Joe Crosby. Earnhardt has served as the head girls basketball coach each of those 19 years and the athletic director for the last 13. He also started RGNS’ football program in 2009 and was the program’s inaugural head coach.
