Wildcats, Lady Cats take on Tallulah Falls today; region title game set for over weekend

The Wildcats are the No. 2 seed in the region tournament, taking on Tallulah Falls again on Thursday, Feb. 16.

The Lady Cats take on Tallulah Falls again in the first round of the region tournament. The region tourney will be held at Piedmont University, with the Lady Cats as the No. 2 seed behind Elbert County. The championship game will take place on Friday, Feb. 17, at 8 p.m.

Watts ended with 14 points, including 10 in the first quarter, to help the Lady Cats to a 72-62 victory. Watts also added three steals and four rebounds as the primary defender on Tallulah Falls’ best player Denika Lightbourne.
The regular season for the Rabun County basketball teams has ended after both teams secured wins over Tallulah Falls on Friday, Feb. 10.
