GAINESVILLE, GA – Fresh off a Southeastern Conference-winning season, former Rabun County record-setter and current Georgia Bulldog quarterback Gunner Stockton for a second consecutive year got to meet his younger fanbase first-hand at his youth football camp.

Giles, Blalock named to BLITZ HOF

Recent Rabun County High School graduates Reid Giles and Huey Blalock were named to the BLITZ Sports Class of 2026 Hall of Fame, Blitz announced on Monday. Giles was selected to the football HOF, while Blalock was named to the boys basketball Hall of Fame.

TIGER – The Rabun County football team wrapped up its two-week spring practice period with a dramatic 10-9 win in three quarters of action over visiting AAA opponent White County on Friday, May 15.

Rabun football hosts Future Wildcat Kids Camp

TIGER – The Rabun County football program hosted its annual Future Wildcat kids camp on May 18 and 19 on the Rabun County High School campus. The kids camp was free to all interested future Wildcats ages kindergarten through eighth grade.

TIGER – While football season is still a few months away and the anticipation may make it feel even longer, Rabun County High School already is beginning its preparation to return the gridiron for the 2026 season. This week, the Wildcats kicked off their two-week spring practice period.

Three senior Cats sign to extend athletic careers

TIGER – Rabun County seniors Huey Blalock, Reid Giles and TJ Hibler officially signed their letters of intent on April 30 to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level during a ceremony at the Rabun County High School Fine Arts Building.

Rabun football announces spring practice dates, White County scrimmage

School’s football team is already beginning its preparation for the 2026 season. In May, the program will hit the next stage of those preparations when spring practice begins. The GHSA allows for football teams to have 10 practice sessions spread across 13 consecutive school days in the spring.
