Dvorakova, Kafsky pace TFS into Elite Eight

For a second straight season, the Lady Indians (7-13) are heading to the Elite Eight of the GIAA state playoffs. Tallulah Falls traveled to King’s Academy on Tuesday and earned a 53-43 win to advance. Klara Dvorakova and LB Kafsky combined for 34 points in the victory.

Tallulah Falls swim teams sweep at Georgia Tech to defend state titles

For the first time in school history, an athletic team has won back-to-back state titles at the Tallulah Falls School.  Tallulah Falls was successful in defending its championships in both girls and boys swimming.

TFS tennis splits with Gainesville in opener

The Lady Indians opened the season with a great 5-0 victory at home over Gainesville on Tuesday evening. The all-time winningest tennis player, Jaeda-Lee Daniel-Joseph, won in straight sets without dropping a game.

TFS Athletics A pair of senior guards for Tallulah Falls have earned GIAA All-Star game selections. Both Neyo Bain for the Indians and Lia Sanjur Santos for the Lady Indians have garnered invites for the upcoming GIAA All-Star game in March.

Schedules updated for winter sports after snow storm

With the impacts of the heavy snowfall of Winter Storm Gianna, several sports events in Rabun County over the weekend and early into this week have been rescheduled or canceled for Rabun County, Rabun Gap-Nachoochee School and Tallulah Falls School.

Indians avenge prior loss to Bethlehem Christian as three score in double figures

Todor Stanimirovic, Neyo Bain, and Louis Lenain combined for 46 points as Tallulah Falls (10-9; 4-4 in region) earned a 58-50 road win over Bethlehem Christian on Jan. 30. The No. 8-ranked Indians took the win over No. 3 Bethlehem Christian, avenging a prior loss to the Knights.

Schedules updated on local sports after winter storm

As Rabun County continues to recover from the impacts of Winter Storm Fern, changes have been made to the sports schedule for the three area schools – Rabun County, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee and Tallulah Falls. These schedule amendments were provided to The Clayton Tribune as of press time.

Camargo has major international success while representing Panama

Tallulah Falls School athletes like Valentina Arias Camargo not only excel locally, but also internationally. Over the holiday break, the senior from Juan Diaz, Panama, had the opportunity to swim and represent her country in The National Long Course Swimming Championship. From Dec.

Tallulah Falls cruises past Riverside for back-to-back wins

No. 3-ranked Tallulah Falls won a 75-33 game on Jan. 13 at Riverside Military Academy, securing a back-to-back win and moving to 3-1 in region play. The Indians (9-6) raced out to a 21-8 lead after one, and stretched the advantage to 39-21 going into the break.

TFS girls secure first top-10 win this season over No. 9-ranked Bethlehem Christian

Tallulah Falls reeled off its second straight win in a 46-35 home victory Jan. 17 against No. 9-ranked Bethlehem Christian. It marks the first top-10 win for the Lady Indians this season, and third all-time. TFS jumped out to a 20-4 opening quarter.
